ExpertiseInternationally renowned, Sal Lopes is a photographer and platinum printer who has had numerous exhibitions and publications in the United States and abroad. His personal work is widely exhibited and collected, with more than 130 prints in museum collections. Over the years, he has had more than fifty exhibitions at venues including The International Center of Photography, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Chrysler Museum, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Williams College Museum of Art, among others. In addition, his photographs are included in the collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Chrysler Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Musée de L’Elysee in Lausanne, Switzerland.
